ALHAJI SULEIMAN YAHYAH
The Executive Chairman of Rosehill Group,
Suleiman Yahyah is a First Class Economics
graduate from the famous Bayero University,
Kano. He graduated in 1987 as the best student
in faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and
thereafter obtained a Masters Degree in June
1990 with flying colors in Development Economics
from the prestigious Cambridge University in the
United Kingdom. He qualified as a Chartered
Stockbroker in 1996, with experience and
know-how in both the primary and secondary
market activities. Alhaji Yahyah is both
scholarly and an astute businessman. As a
specialist in turn-around management, he is part
of the team that re-engineered the then NUB
International Bank and served as one of their
pioneer Directors. FCMB Plc also invited Alhaji
Yahyah to join the core group as Director to
assist in restructuring and repositioning the
bank.
Alhaji Yahyah is also a pioneer member of the
Investment and Securities Tribunal (IST) and
also provides tremendous support to the Nigeria
Economic Summit Group (NESG) as an active
Member. He is also the Vice Chairman of NAHCO
PLC, a quoted company involved with aviation
logistics.
ALHAJI YAHYA ALI
Alhaji Ali holds a BSc degree (1984) in
Economics from the University of Ibadan and an
MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria,
Nigeria.
He worked in various capacities for Union Bank
of Nigeria Plc and Habib Nigeria Bank Limited.
In 1985, he joined Continental Merchant Bank Plc
as an Assistant Manager and rose to the position
of Assistant General Manager. He headed various
departments and divisions of the Bank, including
Foreign Money Market, Export and Special
Products, Corporate Banking and Capital and
Investment Division.
Alhaji Ali is a Director and offers wide ranging
consultancy support to the Group.
